A really well-balanced XO with a drier, more spice-driven style. There’s walnut, dried fruit and apple at first, then darker notes of chocolate and leather start to show. I also like how it keeps opening up in the glass - it feels layered and mature without becoming too heavy or overly sweet.

Really easy to like. It’s fruity at first, mostly pear and prune, but there’s also a nice woody side with some cedar and vanilla. I especially liked the slightly dry, nutty finish – it gives it a bit more character.

Martell Cordon Bleu Extra

A smooth and more mature version of Cordon Bleu. Dried apricot, nuts, sweet spice and candied orange all come through nicely, and the long, spicy finish adds a slightly drier oak note at the end. It feels polished and well balanced, just a bit softer and more mellow than the regular Cordon Bleu.
